terms of service

  • general:

  • by commissioning me, you agree to my tos and permissions.

  • by commissioning me, you agree that work on your commission may begin immediately and that your right to withdraw from the contract is waived once work has begun.

  • disclaimer:

  • my commissions are private sales as part of a non-commercial, hobby-based activity.

  • no vat is charged or shown, as i am not operating as a business.

  • naturally due to having different art styles, i may make subtle design changes.

  • i will not copy someone elses artwork for your commission as it makes me uncomfortable.

  • my artworks are generally darker as light colors give me sensory issues.

  • prohibitions:

  • my artwork may not be altered, copied or shared without my explicit written permission - this includes commercial use (trading, selling, profiting). giving credit does not replace the need for permission.

  • my artwork may not be used for any blockchain-related or crypto-related purposes.

  • my artwork may not be shared on x (twitter), pinterest and tiktok.

  • payment:

  • via paypal in euro / €. (sometimes steam gifts are acceptable as an alternative.)

  • the standard prices are subject to change. if your concept is more complex / time-consuming, we will discuss whether you'd like to pay more or opt for a simplified version.

  • commissions are non-refundable.

  • commission process:

  • please provide references! for characters, preferably provide base colors and a summary of their character / story for accuracy.

  • after agreeing to the commission details, i will ask you for the agreed upon payment. don't send the payment before i ask you to!

  • after receiving the information for your commission, i will begin the thumb-nailing stage. major changes must be voiced during this stage.

  • after approving the final result, the commissioned work will be sent to you via email.

  • the standard time for completion is around two weeks. if delays were to occur, you will be informed.

  • commissioned art usage rights - the artist:

  • my commissions do not include exlusive right. this means i retain the copyright of the artwork and the right to share it on social media, in portfolios and for self-promotional purposes.

  • commissioned art usage rights - the client:

  • you may use commissioned artwork for private / personal purposes. this means the permission to display in personal spaces and share on social media (with credit*).

  • termination and blacklisting:

  • i reserve the right to refuse or discontinue my services if the client violates my tos, including but not limited to instances of harassment, hate speech, or other disrespectful behavior.

  • if a commission is terminated due to such violation, no refund will be issued for work that has already been started.
